Staging
Q1 - It is a good chance for us as performers to practice performing to a audience not just infront of us but surrounding us.
Q2- It limits the space to perform in width wise.
Q3- Ever since i started acting i have always learnt to face the audience when acting so a challenge for me will be opening up to an audience all around me and trying to perform at all angles so that i can be seen by the whole audience and they will not feel blocked out.
Lesson 5 - First Rehearsal
Lesson 5 - First Rehearsal
Today we started the lesson with working out our sequences with the other people that are being the same character as each other to try and show the audience we are the same character, we made Cathys sequence in perfect time and her doing her makeup and staring at her self because we portrayed her as quite vain , wierd and dopey
I did not rehearse this week as im in scene 3 so i did a character story board and watched .

Lesson 4 - Casting Workshop
Lesson 4 - Casting Workshop
Q1- I found the workshop actually very fun as i found it quite a professional process of auditioning for the play, I read in for Jan, Leah and Lou, i particularly wanted to play these roles as i liked each of those characters story's a lot.
Q2- I found the workshop interesting to observe as it was fun to see all the ways that people interpretative the text for a character in comparison to someone else. I was impressed by the way that Kim experimented with reading different characters in certain ways to make sure every time she read for a different character it wasn't the same.
